Nancy's Story

My journey with neurodiversity began with growing up with two neurodivergent parents, whose unique challenges in communication unknowingly shaped our family dynamics. After my mom's passing in 2019, I found myself reflecting deeply on my relationships throughout my life, leading me to the discovery that both of my parents were neurodivergent.

Through this reflection and self-exploration, I realized how my parents' experiences influenced my own identity and self-awareness. Understanding their neurodivergence opened my heart to the strengths and struggles we shared, helping me recognize my own gifts and limitations. This insight has been invaluable as I navigate my present relationships —especially within my family dynamic as a wife and mother.

My mission is to support others in their journeys of self-discovery, guiding them to embrace their own neurodivergent experiences. I believe that by fostering understanding and compassion, we can all move forward in a more loving, empowering, and fulfilling way.

Finding Clarity & Direction Through Assessments

Taking the step to explore an assessment for autism or ADHD is both courageous and transformative.

As an adult, you might be grappling with feelings of confusion, frustration, or a sense that something has always felt a bit off in your life. You’re not alone in this journey, and your experiences are valid.

Understanding ourselves is a crucial step in navigating life, especially for neurodiverse individuals. Many people find that taking an assessment can be a powerful tool in this journey.

Assessments provide valuable insights into your unique strengths, challenges, and thought patterns. They can help identify specific needs that might not be immediately clear, offering a clearer picture of how you experience the world. This understanding can empower you to embrace your identity and navigate relationships, work, and daily life with more confidence and clarity.

Taking an assessment can also foster self-acceptance, helping you recognize that your experiences are valid and worthy of attention. It can illuminate areas where you may need support, guiding you toward strategies that can enhance your well-being and personal growth.

Moreover, assessments can pave the way for more tailored support, whether through therapy, coaching, or community resources. By understanding your neurodiverse profile, you can advocate for your needs more effectively, fostering healthier relationships and creating environments that nurture your strengths.

Ultimately, the goal is to equip you with insights that lead to greater self-awareness and resilience. If you're considering an assessment, know that it's a courageous step toward embracing your journey and unlocking your potential.

I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Embracing Therapy: A Path to Understanding and Healing

The assessments may unlock answers to your questions and experiences and evoke new feelings and emotions. The goal of our therapeutic sessions are beneficial because they foster collaboration, leading to growth through insight and healing through understanding and acceptance.

We can work together to address the challenges you face with neurodivergence by gaining awareness of the complex dynamics that exist and equipping you with effective tools to manage these challenges. This includes enhancing your ability to communicate effectively and emotively with those in your life and family dynamics, as well as identifying ways to support your needs that may have gone unmet until they are uncovered.

Through this process, you will find that assessments not only support your personal insight and growth, but also have the potential to positively impact your relationships with your partner, children, and community, fostering deeper connections and understanding in all areas of your life.

Our sessions will provide a safe and confidential space for exploration and growth. I appreciate the opportunity to support you in this process and am dedicated to being alongside you on this transformative journey.
